Responsibilities Work in an 8-bed Intensive Care Unit in a hospital setting Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am, three 12-hour shifts per week Care for critically ill adult patients in a Level 1 Trauma environment Uses Epic EMR, Epic charting experience required No floating or travel partner arrangements permitted Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and individualize patient care plans Utilize SVI patient education tools to educate patients and families Participate in performance improvement initiatives and data collection Active involvement in patient safety and evidence-based practice Maintain professional accountability and promote team development Must complete required compliance steps according to specified deadlines Requests for time off may not exceed 7 total days during the 13-week contract Returning employees must complete a 6-month break after 1 year of assignment before returning Requirements Active Illinois RN license required (temporary license accepted) Bachelor's degree in Nursing required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) Minimum one year of recent ICU nursing experience required Documented Level 1 Trauma and Epic charting experience required Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no locals accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628539.
