Responsibilities Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital setting Night shifts from 7 : 00pm to 7 : 30am, three 12-hour shifts per week Care for critically ill adult patients in a Level 1 trauma environment Uses Epic EMR system and requires previous Epic experience No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans Implements evidence-based interventions and evaluates patient outcomes throughout each shift Educates patients and families using the SVI patient education system and tailored strategies Actively participates in quality improvement and performance initiatives Provides goal-focused shift reports and utilizes team communication for optimal care No travel partners accepted for this position Returning travelers may not exceed one year of continuous assignment and must take a six-month break before returning Time off during the contract may not exceed 7 days in a 13-week assignment Requirements Active IL RN license (temporary license accepted) Bachelor's degree in Nursing required Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required Minimum of one year relevant nursing experience in similar setting Level 1 trauma experience required Documented experience using Epic EMR Ability to meet physical demands including safe patient movement and bedside lab specimen collection Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628540.
