About The Position

Job Title : Inpatient Pharmacist

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (06 : 30 - 15 : 00; 08 : 30 - 17 : 00)

Certifications : BLS, Chemo / Hazardous Drug, IV Certification

Must-Have : Inpatient / Acute care experience required

Epic experience required

Description :

The position is for an Inpatient Pharmacist.

Candidates must have 0 to 2 years of pharmacy experience.

First-time pharmacists are accepted with prior inpatient experience.

Work will include weekends every fourth weekend.

On-call requirement is every fourth weekend.

Candidates will not float within the scope to meet facility needs.

Block schedule accommodations are open to negotiation.

Local candidates are not accepted; a 100-mile radius restriction applies.

Pending licenses are accepted.

Ideally, candidates should have no more than 5 days of requested time off.

The client may cancel up to 3 shifts for any assigned candidate without penalty.

On-call hours do not count towards guaranteed minimum hours.

The facility is an acute care hospital with 26 staffed beds.

Patients include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily census is approximately 15 patients.

The charting system used is Epic (Excellian).

Candidates must be able to manage various medication specialties and ensure safe therapeutic monitoring.

References from a supervisor are required for submission.

Candidates cannot have an open case during the compliance process.

If fingerprint results are not received by the compliance file due date, candidates will be postponed at least one week.

Modules must be completed prior to starting work, and are recorded as required training.

No references will be provided post-assignment if the candidate previously worked as a permanent employee.
