We are currently looking for caring and compassionate Registered Nurses for our children's emergency services / crisis stabilization program. This program is designed to offer triage and therapeutic care services for behavioral, mental, and substance abuse conditions for youths aged 4-17 years.\n

  • 20% additional Shift differential for Evenings and Overnight Shift\n
  • 12Hr Shift : 8 : 00 AM- 8 : 30 PM or 8 : 00 PM -8 : 30 AM\n

  • Company Discounts\n\nJOB SUMMARY\n\nProvides direct nursing care to patients with behavioral health disorders based on a systematized body of knowledge. Oversees care provided by Licensed Practical Nurses and Behavioral Health Technicians. Utilizes nursing process including assessment, identification of nursing problems, planning, execution, evaluation, and modification of nursing interventions as determined by patient outcomes.\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES : \n
  • Assess the physiological, psychosocial, and environmental needs of patients.\n
  • Implement the plan of care based on nursing standards and practice.\n
  • Evaluate the appropriateness of nursing interventions defined in the plan of care.\n
  • Ensure accurate and complete required documentation by Behavioral Health Technicians and Licensed Practical Nurses.\n
  • Demonstrate competency in critical thinking and decision-making skills.\n
  • Monitor staff and continuous workflow of the unit.\n
  • Share professional and technical knowledge following policies and procedures.\n\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS\n
  • Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree from an NLN-approved program\n
  • A minimum of one year of psychiatric mental and / or behavioral patient care experience.\n
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.\n
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, families, employees, and the general public.
