Civil Project Engineer III - Stormwater

Timmons Group is currently seeking an experienced Civil Project EngineerIII candidate to join our Stormwater Group located in our Charlotte, NC office location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to :

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to investigate storm drainage issues and support stormwater management designs
• Complete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and / or utilizes computers in order to solve problems with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM models.
• Provide engineering assistance for the design of stormwater control measures, stormwater retrofit designs and other stormwater related projects
• Conduct background research on technical issues and write clear reports and memorandums to convey project results to our clients
• Assist in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates
• Participate in field data collection and construction observation duties as directed
• Communicate with clients and internal design team as directed by the Project Manager
