Associate Actuary (ASA)

A company is looking for an Associate Actuary who has recently earned their ASA designation and is interested in actuarial career growth in Individual commercial pricing work.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct analysis, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes for health plans

Serve as the main point of contact for actuarial activities for assigned health plans

Create and update actuarial reports while analyzing data trends and legislative impacts

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

2+ years of actuarial experience

Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or equivalent certification

Knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and finance principles

Experience in analyzing premium rates and cash reserves
