Cost Analyst Junior

HunaTek is seeking a highly motivated performance driven individual with strong cost analysis experience to work closely with our Government client in the Northern Virginia area. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication quantitative research and analytical skills.

Essential Job Functions :

The Cost Analyst position will include but not be limited to the following capabilities :

• Support program office and lifecycle cost estimate activities.
• Assist develop update and apply mathematical and logical methodologies for estimating program costs.
• Develop update manipulate and maintain cost and affordability models.
• Support efforts in collecting normalizing and analyzing complex data.
• Build and defend budget requirements.
• Forecast future funding needs.
• Evaluate contracting strategy and courses of action.
• Conduct planning for acquisition of capabilities.
• Identify sustainment cost impacts of acquisition decisions.
• Identify interface maintenance funding requirements for all affected platforms / systems.
• Manage solution delivery to a baselined schedule.
• Provide a basis and supporting materials for briefings to management at the executive and oversight levels for all affected program / project funding requirements.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team to meet organizational and project goals.
• Lead in the preparation of briefing materials and other communications packages presenting the results of analysis.
• Communicate and work with diverse organizations and representatives for data collection analysis and results presentation.
