SUMMARY

This is a Part-Time Staff Pool for available assignments during the academic year. Applications are considered throughout the academic year and reviewed based on departmental needs. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Requires flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include working days, evenings and / or weekends.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
An Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Lab Assistant works with students to provide appropriate learning experiences that enhance students' knowledge and facilitate their application of theoretical knowledge in clinical / skills practice.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The incumbent typically works in a lab environment and uses simulated and genuine EMS equipment as needed to instruct students. The incumbent also works in a hospital setting when precepting students.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand for long periods, walk, run, reach, bend, and lift up to ninety (90) pounds.
