Acura Lube Tech ( NEW CAR DEALER)
Job Summary :
Acura of Avon is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Lube Tech in Canton, Connecticut.
This is a Full Time, hourly Technician / Skilled Labor / Contractor position in the Auto industry. As a Lube Tech, you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation for our customers.
This is an individual contributor role that requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections on customer vehicles.
- Identify and communicate any potential issues or needed repairs to service advisors and technicians.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and follow repair manuals to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles.
- Keep accurate records of all services and repairs performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
- Assist with other duties as needed, such as road tests or helping with customer vehicle pick-up and drop-off.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a lube tech or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
