Warehouse Forklift Operator - Weekend Day Shift

As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. You will report to a Supervisor and move product throughout the site and load or unload materials using a reach truck, order / cherry picker, sit-down forklift, or other heavy material handling equipment. You will work Friday - Sunday, 12 : 00 PM - 12 : 30 AM. The hourly pay rate is $22.97, plus a $1.00 shift differential with weekly pay.

How you create impact

• You will operate a Crown reach truck to load and unload designated trailers, pick orders, and move and store products throughout the warehouse
• Verify and receive materials in inventory
• Your responsibilities may include palletizing and shrink wrapping
• Conduct pre-operation and post-operation equipment checks
• Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
