Overview

They are seeking a Sr. Robotics / Firmware Engineer to join their Austin-based team and take ownership of the embedded robotic pipeline for a surgical robot. This is a chance to work on cutting-edge technology in a highly regulated, mission-driven environment where your contributions will directly impact patient outcomes.

What Youll Do

• Build and deploy embedded system software / firmware for production.
• Develop algorithms for hardware interfaces (motor controllers, I / O boards, etc.).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align hardware and software requirements.
• Own the embedded software pipeline for a robotic surgical system.
• Write design documents and follow regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Participate in rigorous testing, debugging, and root cause analysis.
