Job Summary
Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the daily activities of the facility, to include managing and directing the multi-directional team supporting all operations; controlling each aspect of budget and expense control; talent development; providing cohesive customer service by communicating with selling Club managers and vendors to ensure timely support; overseeing distribution fundamentals to maintain asset integrity and adherence to corporate policies; ensuring the allocation of resources to optimize distribution productivity; and reviewing changes in distribution philosophies to increase operational efficiencies and strive for continuous improvement, while planning strategically for the future of the business; and ensuring the operation embraces maximum customer service to our selling clubs and home office partners.
Responsible for all activities involved with the accurate and cost-efficient movement of merchandise from the Distribution Center to our Club locations. These activities include transportation, warehousing, materials handling, protective packaging, inventory control, order processing, customer service, and directing subordinates.
Additional Responsibilities
Monitor and control costs to meet or exceed all budget and productivity performance guidelines and benchmarks. Assure 100% asset integrity of all BJ's merchandise in conjunction with BJ's Safety and Quality Control Standards. Maintain proper guidelines and controls to ensure a quality Management and Team Member relations environment. Ensure the allocation of sufficient resources to optimize productivity and realize continuous improvement. Provide cohesive customer service by communicating with selling Club Managers and vendors to ensure high quality support.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education : Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. 7 plus years of experience in a combination of physical distribution, transportation, and resources.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $112,000.00-$142,500.00.
