• The Beat Music Academy is currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate DJ Music Instructor to join our team at our St.
• Pete location.
• As an integral part of our academy, the DJ Music Instructor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and engaging instruction to students of varying skill levels, fostering their growth and development in the art of DJing.

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design and develop curriculum for DJing courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.

Instructional Delivery:

• Deliver dynamic and interactive instruction in DJing techniques, equipment operation, music theory, and performance skills.

Individualized Guidance:

• Provide personalized feedback and guidance to students, identifying areas for improvement and offering constructive criticism.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Oversee the maintenance and care of DJ equipment and studio facilities, ensuring functionality and safety.

Performance Opportunities:

• Facilitate performance opportunities for students, such as showcases and events, to showcase their skills and build confidence.

Stay Current:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging techniques in DJing, integrating relevant updates into curriculum and instruction.

Student Assessment:

• Administer assessments and evaluations to gauge student progress and proficiency, adjusting instruction as needed to meet individual learning needs.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff members to coordinate schedules, plan events, and promote a cohesive learning environment.

Community Engagement:

• Engage with the local music community and industry professionals to foster partnerships, networking opportunities, and promotional activities for the academy.

Administrative Tasks:

• Assist with administrative duties as needed, including student enrollment, record-keeping, and communication with parents/guardians.

Qualifications:

• Expertise: Proven expertise and proficiency in DJing techniques, equipment operation, and music mixing.

Teaching Experience:

• Previous experience in teaching or instructing DJing, music production, or related disciplines preferred.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students of varying skill levels.

Passion:

• Passion for music and a genuine desire to inspire and mentor aspiring DJs.

Adaptability:

• Flexibility to adapt instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
