Position Summary

The System Lab Supervisor Of Support Services provides day-to-day operational oversight across Bronson's laboratory locations. This role includes administrative and technical supervision, personnel leadership, workflow coordination, and quality assurance. The supervisor collaborates with system lab leadership, supports regulatory compliance, and promotes teamwork throughout the laboratory network.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Personnel Management

Provide daily supervision and support to lab staff system-wide

Participate in hiring, coaching, counseling, and evaluations

Promote teamwork, communication, and a positive work culture

Ensure staff compliance with all policies and procedures

Operations & Workflow Oversight

Coordinate daily operations, workload distribution, and staffing coverage

Ensure timely and accurate specimen processing, testing, and reporting

Oversee inventory, supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination

Assist in selecting and validating new testing methods and instrumentation

Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance

Develop and monitor QA indicators and performance metrics

Maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards

Review QC, maintenance, calibrations, and corrective actions

Identify and resolve technical issues and escalate when needed

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

Assist with developing and monitoring budgets

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Support quality improvement activities and system initiatives

Collaboration & Communication

Serve as a resource for providers, staff, and leadership

Communicate technical information clearly

Participate in system committees and cross-functional projects

Support training, orientation, and competency development for staff and students
