Nations Roof is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team and contribute to our continued success.

Location : Hybrid Greater Boston area

We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive new business development and strengthen customer partnerships within the commercial roofing and construction market. This role is vital to expanding our market presence, fostering trusted relationships, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.

Position Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities in commercial roofing and building envelope services. This role focuses on identifying client needs, presenting solutions, and managing customer relationships through the full sales cycle.

The Sales Executive partners closely with Technical Sales and Operations teams to provide accurate assessments, develop proposals, and ensure seamless project execution. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, a passion for networking, and strong communication skills with commercial property owners, managers, and consultants.

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify and pursue new commercial roofing and construction opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, and market research.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools and proactive follow-up.
  • Prepare and deliver professional proposals, bids, and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Build and nurture relationships with building owners, property managers, developers, consultants, and general contractors.
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets through disciplined planning and execution.

Customer Account Development

  • Develop long-term partnerships to drive repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular site visits with Technical Representative or Operations personnel to assess client needs and present technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to ensure accuracy in project scope, pricing, and delivery.
  • Manage customer expectations and maintain proactive communication throughout each project.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Partner with Technical Representative and Operations to provide clients with comprehensive roofing solutions.
  • Participate in job walks, site meetings, and client presentations alongside technical experts.
  • Work with local divisions to align market strategies and share insights.
  • Support marketing efforts by providing input on customer trends, case studies, and success stories.
  • Networking & Industry Engagement

  • Represent Nations Roof at BOMA, industry associations, and regional trade shows.
  • Build relationships with consultants, property and facility decision-makers, and other key influencers.
  • Actively participate in local networking events to strengthen brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within commercial construction, roofing, or building envelope systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, close new business, and grow customer accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial construction process and project lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally for client meetings, site visits, and events.
