Heavy Civil Superintendent – Roadway / Wet Utilities

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Relocation Assistance Available

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000 (DOE)

This position is for a medium size heavy civil construction company. They do roadway, parks, water wastewater and bridge projects.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years' experience as a superintendent in roadway or wet utilities
• Review project plans, specifications, estimates, and documents before work begins.
• Perform take-offs, identify conflicts, and provide input on schedule, labor, and equipment needs.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and suppliers; track lead times and approvals.
• Manage change orders, documentation, permits, utilities, and site logistics.
• Oversee safety, traffic control, drainage, and quality control throughout the project.
• Maintain daily logs, cost reports, as-builts, pay estimates, and final close-out documentation.
• Supervise and support Foremen, subcontractors, and workforce hiring / termination.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
