Position : Commercial Insurance Sales Representative (Full-time)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in commercial insurance sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to effectively cold call and generate leads. You will play a critical role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for commercial insurance.
- Identify and target potential clients through cold calling, networking events, referrals, and other strategic approaches.
- Research potential clients\' business needs, industries, and risk profiles to tailor insurance solutions.
- Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing expert guidance on insurance products and coverage options.
- Conduct needs assessments to recommend appropriate insurance solutions that align with clients\' business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting benefits and value of our products.
- Address client inquiries and concerns while demonstrating industry knowledge of insurance policies.
- Negotiate terms and coverage to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Leverage cold calling to generate a steady stream of qualified leads and document all interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams (underwriters, claims specialists) to create customized proposals that meet client needs.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and upcoming opportunities to sales management.
- Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to continuous improvement of sales strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of proven success in commercial insurance sales.Demonstrated experience in cold calling and lead generation.In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, industry trends, and underwriting guidelines.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.Relevant insurance licenses and certifications are a plus (CIC or CPCU preferred).Benefits
