Analyst, Air Emissions

Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

Air Emissions Analyst will be based at Houston, Texas office, and travel to Calcasieu Pass LNG, Plaquemines LNG, CP2 LNG, and any future project locations, as necessary . In this critical role, the candidate will be responsible for developing and managing air emissions and parametric monitoring assessment tools (e.g., spreadsheet tools, database programs, and Environmental Management Information Systems (EMIS) tools) to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local air quality regulations. Other job duties include performing Air Quality Regulatory Compliance Program related activities assigned by the site and the corporate management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Collect and analyze relevant data from the site staff, contractors, and corporate staff to demonstrate compliance with the monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
• Develop and Implement quality assurance and control practices to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the air emissions database.
• Prepare, update, and report air emission inventories, related background data, and weekly and monthly Air Quality Compliance reports using a combination of MS Excel, database tool, and EMIS programs (e.g., Cority).
• Analyze emissions data to continually improve emissions reduction strategies by establishing benchmarks.
• Work closely with the site and corporate staff to understand site specific processes and operating procedures for effectively supporting the Air Quality Regulatory Compliance.
• Assist in updating Air Quality Compliance Plans and Procedures for the site.
• Assist in coordinating periodic stack tests and fugitive monitoring surveys.
• Assist in conducting internal site audits of Air Quality Compliance data.
• Research and interpret the federal (e.g., NSPS, NESHAP) and the LDEQ regulatory requirements, as needed.
