Location : San Diego, CA (In-house, Full-time)

Duration : Approx. 6-9 months (to cover maternity leave)

Compensation : $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience.

Rylee + Cru Collective is a distinguished global children's apparel company featuring three unique brands : Rylee + Cru, Quincy Mae, and Noralee. We are celebrated for our hand-drawn artistry and timeless designs, offering carefully crafted apparel for babies, children, women, and teens. This pivotal role encompasses support for design and product development across all three brands.

Role Overview :

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Temporary Apparel Design and Product Developer to support our design and production teams from inception to completion. This exciting opportunity involves collaborating closely with our Founder, Senior Designers, and cross-functional partners to facilitate efficient development processes.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader, self-starter, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will encompass hands-on work with sample and material approvals, Illustrator CAD design, and team coordination to uphold timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in creating tech packs, artwork packages, and fabric specifications.
• Maintain and update line plans, fabric details, and production tracking using Google Sheets.
• Review and approve lab dips, fabric swatches, trims, and strike-offs.
• Communicate effectively with overseas vendors to cater to development and production requirements.
• Organize and keep material and trim libraries up to date.
• Track and manage all development and production samples efficiently.
• Input and maintain accurate data in Excel and Google Docs.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned by the design team.
