JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Department: Emergency Department

Shift Timings: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours, Monday to Friday 3 days 12 hours shift.

Per Week: 36 Hours

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications

EOW; EOH; This position needs to have greater than 2 years experience PCU or ICU. This position will be dedicated to support the inpatient holds in the Emergency Department; may need to float to other departments onsite or within 40 miles of site if needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Emergency Room experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN Wisconsin license
• One year of Epic experience
• TNCC and PALS certifications

Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
