Material Handler

Join our team at an anaerobic digestion facility located in St. Bernard, Ohio. This position offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional Saturday hours from 8 AM to 12 PM. As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in the safe transportation and processing of various containers and hazardous waste materials.

Responsibilities include :

• Load and unload various size containers including totes, drums, tankers, and trailers.
• Construct boxes or fiber containers, stack, label, and load them.
• Utilize a variety of tools such as impact wrenches, shovels, and jackhammers.
• Transport hazardous waste materials within the facility as directed.
• Decontaminate and dispose of empty drums and containers following RCRA and disposal guidelines.
• Assist in completing paperwork for processing materials, including transportation logistics.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work environment.
• Inspect material handling equipment as directed.
• Assist in the loading / unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials at designated sites using appropriate equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
