Job Summary
The .NET Developer II designs and develops .NET Web applications, web services and windows application using C#.NET on Visual studio .NET 2010 and 2013, JavaScript, AJAX and is under the supervision of a senior or lead developer. This position supports existing developed applications. Maintain L.A. Care's Intranet.
Duties
Design, Development, & Support of .NET applications. Maintain effective security aligned with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, state and federal requirements. Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to design, code and test new Windows and web software applications. Create technical specifications and test plans. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
Administration of Intranet; Maintain existing intranet web applications with 99.99% availability.
Development of MSSQL and PL/SQL; Develop and maintain databases related tasks in support of developed .NET applications with 99.99% availability. Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
Maintain effective security aligned with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), state and federal requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Related FieldIn lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.Education Preferred
Master's Degree in Information Technology or Related FieldExperience
Required:
At least 4 years of experience developing .NET applications using C#.NET on Visual studio 2010/2013 with at least 2 years of experience with MSSQL 2010/2012 and Oracle 10g/11i/12c.
Experience in developing solutions using ASP.NET, MVC 4.0, Restless web services using SQL Server 2010 & 2012 as backend.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Oracle 12c & PL/SQL Development and should Experience with Software development life cycle is a plus.
