Pay Range : $75,000 – $93,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications

This position supervises the Swing Shift, which runs between ten to twelve hours Monday – Friday beginning at 4 : 00pm

MITER Brands™ is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGTI is one of the nation's largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. We are looking for a second-shift Production Supervisor for our Temecula, CA location.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assigned department functions and all associated personnel.
• Appropriately staff and schedule departmental personnel to ensure production requirements are met while minimizing costs.
• Plan departmental operations by establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Observe and coach personnel on work-related issues.
• Ensure plant staff enforces company policies and procedures, plant-wide safety rules and employee conduct.
• Develop people, improve processes, reduce costs, monitor quality, and ensure superior customer service and on-time delivery.
• Incorporate Milgard's vision and values in daily activities; guide and motivate others to remain committed to the Milgard philosophy.
• Interview, hire, train, terminate, discipline, and coach employees.
• Participate in the Leadership Development Program (LDP) for the location.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of the job; proper usage of personal protective equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
