Summary / Objective
The Vice President of Business Development generates new business opportunities and maximizes existing business opportunities by developing relations with Target Clients, Current Clients, and Team.

Essential Functions
Commitment to Pipe View America’s Core Values and Programs is required.
Maintain Current Client relationships through mutually created and agreed upon call plan.
Mutually create sales strategy for reaching Target Clients in new and existing areas
Effective pre-call planning and preparation to maximize engagement with Clients to establish business relationships
Effective and Efficient scheduling of weekly travel to meet with Current and Target Clients
Leverage the expertise of Operations and Client Coordinators to maximize Client engagement
Create shared experiences monthly with Clients and team through meetings, charities, and other industry events.
Identify and engage in events that our clients are passionate about, such as charities, auctions, trade shows and industry outings
Understand and leverage leading edge technology and solutions that our clients and their customers value
Owns the Pipe View America interface with client and is responsible for knowing internal project status (client expectations, safety, profit goals) as of way to maximize appropriate and timely communication
Education, Experience and Competencies
Must demonstrate social, professional, and emotional intelligence.
5-10 years of experience working in Business Development.
5 plus years experience in Utility / Energy installation is preferred
Personal Development focused on effective communication to build relationships and drive Revenue
Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software required; experience with Pipe Drive, GIS, Google Maps preferred.
Strong organizational skills required.
Delivering results while working on multiple opportunities simultaneously, balancing schedules and coordinating travel plans.
Demonstrated team building skills required.
Extremely detail-oriented with superior communication skills is required.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in relevant area preferred.
Salary
$75,000+ / Annually Based on Experience

Work Environment
This job operates in an office or business setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and tablets. Meeting with clients and teams at mutual locations to maximize engagement and establish business relationships
Physical Demands
Mobility required for travel to offsite face-to-face meetings. This role requires the individual to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. This role requires the individual to make substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers often. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as : preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and / or extensive reading.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position which essential functions typically includes working Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m, but the employee must be available during extended hours for the demands and the needs of customers. This position recognizes safety and life balance, as such, some flexibility in hours is allowed
Travel
This role does require travel. Most likely 1-2 times per week via plane or roadway to maximize engagement with Clients to establish business relationships.
