Job Description Medline Industries has an opening for an experienced and talented Application Architect to join our team. As an Application Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and high-performance Enterprise applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to ensure the successful delivery of innovative solutions. As an Application Architect you will be leading our ERP team through a digital transformation to a cloud first approach. (This position will be required to be based in a Medline facility 3 days a week. This individual will be able to work out of any of Medline's US facilities. Corporate offices are in of Chicago area) Responsibilities : Architect and design robust, scalable, and high-performing modern ERP applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize application features and enhancements. Develop and maintain architectural standards, best practices, and coding guidelines for modern ERP applications. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them in implementing best practices and ensuring code quality. Conduct reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices. Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks in existing applications, proposing and implementing appropriate solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in modern ERP frameworks, and evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies. Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of the applications throughout the development lifecycle. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Leading execution teams who are responsible for implementing your designs using the latest development patterns and technologies for various ERP Components. Designing application architectures that meet Medline’s standards for resiliency, scalability, security, and agility. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience Senior level experience as a software developer, including demonstrable experience working as an Architect or Lead Developer building ERP application architectures. Extensive knowledge of SAP ERP and the SAP HANA Databases. Extensive knowledge and expertise in SAP Fiori, UI5, OData Services, and modern frameworks. Solid understanding of architectural patterns, best practices, and design principles for building scalable and maintainable ERP applications. Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly analyze and understand complex systems. Experience with version control systems, build tools, and modern development workflows. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile development environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within project deadlines. Experience designing applications and solutions for resilience and recoverability. Experience mentoring / coaching ERP development teams on standards, guidelines, and best practices. Preferred Skills, Experience and Education Experience with developing ERP applications for Healthcare. Experience building application architectures for the Azure cloud platform. Experience with ERP architectures. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related. The anticipated salary range for this position : $132,600.00 - $199,160.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and / or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
