We are seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Engineer to assist in various public infrastructure improvement projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their technical skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities include.
- Supporting projects relating to planning, design, and construction of engineering infrastructure for public agencies
- Utilize basic scientific principles, theories, practices, and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope
- Prepare basic data, technical work plans, reports, and scientific documents
- Conduct field visits to project sites to investigate, record, and photograph local conditions
- Interprets and records data, conducts analysis, and compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance
- Apply knowledge of natural sciences (chemistry, physics, biology, hydrology, and mathematics) to engineering problems
- Leveraging CAD and GIS software and other specialized software packages to develop planning and design documents
- Preparing basic studies, construction documents, drawings, maps, reports, and supporting documentation and calculations
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate document or drawing preparation
- Coordination with task and project managers; working with on-site subcontractors and field staff; and supporting sampling, data collection, and field documentation
- Assist with document preparation for regulatory agencies to obtain required permits
- Review analytical data for general indicators of quality based on well-defined guidelines
- Provide technical expertise support
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering1-3 years experience in civil engineering or related fieldKnowledge of engineering and construction principles.Previous exposure to GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D is preferredKnowledge of Microsoft Office suiteWell-organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workCandidate will have good communication skills, both written, oral, and listening, and good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work and interface well in a collaborative project team environmentReview, evaluate, and verify accuracy, and viability of designs, data, reports, and other documents before submitting them to the next review level.Ability to adhere to the company’s standards and procedures as well as project budgets and schedules.Candidate will interact positively and effectively with people at all levels of organizationsCOMPANY BENEFITS :
