A Level III Pediatric Trauma Center in Texas seeks a pediatric surgery advanced practitioner locums to join their on-staff team. Ideally, the locums would be licensed in the state of Texas with a focus on pediatric surgery.

This position is very flexible and can be filled as an ongoing, part-time or full-time position depending on the needs and availability of the candidate. The facility averages 36,000 annual ER visits and performs 1900 inpatient and 5300 outpatient surgeries each year.

The hospital is staffed for 200+ beds with multiple employed pediatric surgery MDs on the medical staff. Each day, the advanced practitioner locums can expect to see 12-17 patients. They will have access to EPIC EMR and will be able to work 12 or 24 hour shifts.

Details / Requirements for assignment :

Texas licensed

Must have relevant experience in pediatric surgery

Average 12-17 patients per day

12 hour or 24 hour shifts available, client is flexible on scheduling

Part-time coverage available

Multiple employed pediatric surgery MDs available

EMR is EPIC

200+ Bed facility
