Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for our location in Falls Church, Virginia. This position is located within a dynamic industry with a focus on customer interaction and financial services. The role is based on site Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. This is a long-term contract position that could lead to permanent placement.
Responsibilities :
- Efficiently handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Process customer credit applications with precision.
- Update and maintain accurate customer credit records.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions.
- Follow up with customers regarding past due payments through phone calls and emails.
- Send reminders to customers about delinquent payments via email, voicemail, and mail.
- Perform data entry tasks to update customer accounts.
- Collaborate with the mortgage division, applying prior collections or banking experience as needed.
- Handle multiple phone calls in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Utilize Office suite effectively and demonstrate a willingness to learn new processes and systems.
Requirements :
Minimum of 1+ years of prior experience working within collections.Prior experience working in accounting preferred.Need to be very tech savvy strong working in Microsoft Office Suite a must.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn new technology.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Prior experience working with a CRM system is a big plus.Must have experience working in customer service.
