Position Overview

The Data Engineer Director will be a hands-on leader responsible for architecting, building, and managing Whitewater's data infrastructure, strategy, and team. You will lead, mentor, and grow a DevOps team of three with the objective of creating a scalable data ecosystem that supports analytics, marketing, operations, and provides cross-departmental tools.

• Lead and Mentor : Manage, hire, and develop a high-performing team of three fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Drive Strategy : Define and own the roadmap for Whitewater's data engineering and business intelligence platform, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Data Architecture & Engineering

Business-Driven Analytics Enablement

Technical & Hands-On : Expert in SQL and Python, turning raw data into actionable insights while tackling complex technical challenges.

Business-Focused : Skilled at translating business questions into analytical frameworks and connecting data to outcomes.

Analytics-Savvy : Experienced with customer segmentation, cohort analysis, churn modeling, and lifetime value optimization.
