PCU RN Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Location : Greensboro, NC 27401 – North Carolina healthcare jobs Unit : 5 West Medical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Start Date : January 6, 2026 End Date : April 28, 2026 Duration : 16 weeks Shifts : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 19 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend and Holiday Rotation : Required Floating : Required as needed between campuses Charting System : Epic EMR Estimated Weekly Pay : $1820 - $1870 PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or compact state (must be in hand at submission) Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN experience First-time travel nurses welcome Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Proficient in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and interpretation Experience with PCU nurse-to-patient ratios (1 : 5) Peripheral and PICC line care / management experience Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed) Epic charting experience required COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) PCU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a 34-bed Progressive Care Unit with telemetry monitoring Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate drips, and manage dysrhythmias Perform peripheral and PICC line care, wound care, and tracheostomy management Administer medications and blood products as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and more Float to other units or campuses as required Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR Participate in weekend and holiday rotations Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel PCU Registered Nurse in Greensboro, NC, and take the next step in your nursing career!
