Nursing Assistant / Registered (CNA / NAR) Opportunity

Martin Luther Care Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant / Registered (CNA / NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care and Long Term Care). This role provides hands-on care and support services for our senior age patients at our spacious care center in Bloomington, MN.

This patient support position includes :

• 16 hours every two weeks
• Day shift
• Includes every other weekend (Saturday / Sunday) and holiday rotations

Required :

Active as Nursing Assistant, Registered (NAR) on the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry by start date OR- Individual who is hired into Ebenezers Nursing Assistant Course or Ebenezers Pre-CNA job for Nursing Assistants; will be granted a 4-month post hire to become active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.

Preferred :

Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population

Communicate efficiently, with compassion and understanding for residents and coworkers

Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant

Work experience in a customer service setting
