DEAs Salt Lake City, UT office is currently hiring for an experienced WaterWastewater Senior EngineerProject Manager in our Water and Environment Business Unit (WEBU) . The primary focus for this position will be to serve as Senior Engineer or Project Manager for a wide variety of municipal water and wastewater projects. Expanding into Utahs water market is one of DEAs primary focus areas and this position will assist in marketing these skills to current and potential clients.

Additionally, this position will require the candidate to utilize their expertise in waterwastewater engineering related projects, including, but not limited to : water system conveyance design; water system storage; sanitary conveyance design (gravity and pumped systems); hydraulic modeling analysis; preparation of water and wastewater infrastructure feasibility studies and master plans; preparation of engineering and construction plans, specifications and estimates; and coordination with regulatory agencies for project permitting.

The position will report directly to DEAs Utah WEBU Market Leader.

Position Responsibilities

• Work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment and contribute to the growth of our Water and Environmental Business Unit in Utah.
• Responsible for planning, designing, and leading a wide range of municipal waterwastewater systems and facilities, as described above.
• Serve as a Project Manager or engineer of record, collaborate with a team of support professionals, including, but not limited to drafters, EITs, GIS technicians, and technical editors.
• Opportunity to coach and mentor entry-level staff.
• Interface with clients and public agencies.
• Assistance in business development efforts (e.g., engagement in professional organizations and visibility efforts), preparing proposals and participating in interviews as needed.
