Position Overview
We're seeking a visionary Head of Genetics Sales to lead our nationwide NGS genetics and cancer genetics program. This pivotal role will drive sales strategy, oversee account management, manage sales representatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and prioritize customer satisfaction—all while upholding the highest standards of ethical practices. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end sales operations for our NGS and cancer genetics portfolio.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, performance management, and Salesforce optimization to maximize team effectiveness.
- Manage key accounts with hospital systems, cancer treatment centers, and other healthcare partners, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CLIA, FDA guidelines) in all sales activities, marketing materials, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and clinical teams to align sales efforts with company goals and market needs.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and performance metrics to refine strategies and achieve aggressive growth targets.
- Travel as needed to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the USA.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a strong focus on sales rep management and CRM expertise.Proven success in medical device sales, diagnostic sales, or related healthcare fields, ideally in genetics or oncology.Deep, established relationships with hospital systems, cancer treatment centers, and key opinion leaders in the healthcare ecosystem.Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining a commitment to compliance and ethical standards.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; comfortable in a fast-paced, remote / hybrid environment.Willingness to travel extensively (road warrior mindset).Location & Work Arrangement
This is a fully remote position, open to candidates anywhere in the USA. Hybrid options available if near our New Orleans headquarters. Expect frequent travel for client meetings, conferences, and team collaboration.
Compensation & Benefits
