Starting Rate : $20 - $25 / hour based on experience PLUS a $1,000 Sign-on Bonus!

In this fulfilling role, you will assist in implementing a positive behavior support program, focusing on proactive strategies and effectively managing challenges faced by exceptional learners. Your interventions will directly contribute to enhancing student behaviors across Grades K-12.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement individual and group interventions to foster positive academic, social-emotional, and behavioral outcomes.
• Encourage positive student behavior while offering guidance to staff in redirecting challenges.
• Maintain thorough records regarding behavioral strategies and intervention plans.
• Analyze behavioral data to track student progress and collaborate with IEP teams.
• Provide classroom staff with support to create effective behavior management systems.
• Utilize applied behavior analysis principles to improve student outcomes and manage disruptions.
• Conduct behavioral observations and develop functional assessments to craft individualized intervention plans.
• Assist in classroom management and instructional activity preparations.
• Respond swiftly to crisis situations with de-escalation techniques to ensure safety.
• Document behavioral incidents and adhere to confidentiality protocols.
• Participate in meetings and professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Assist with supervising students during various school activities.
• Travel between school site locations to provide support as needed.
• Contribute to special projects aimed at program and organizational excellence.
