As a Security Professional - Telecom Building Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic tech and media location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. Pay Rate : $19.90 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 08 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Tue 08 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Wed 08 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Thur 08 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings within a tech, media, and telecom environment and report any suspicious or unusual activity.
  • Document observations and / or incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Assist visitors and employees by answering questions and giving directions as needed.
  • Follow all site-specific instructions and collaborate with client representatives and Allied Universal management as necessary.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
