Bookkeeping (Account Manager)

$30 / hr to start

Role is on-site in Ventura (but also hybrid)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Bookkeeping Account Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid remote work position based on California’s Central Coast, with the ability to work from home while also collaborating in person as needed. Candidates must be located on the Central Coast or have the ability to drive to Ventura and Santa Barbara for occasional meetings and client support. The role is responsible for reviewing client financials on a monthly basis, supporting the bookkeeping department in meeting monthly deadlines, and acting as a key liaison between clients and our CEO to ensure excellent client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, with strong knowledge of financial statements and reconciliations.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and collaborate effectively with the internal team.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and general office tools.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Located in the Central Coast area or willing to commute to Ventura and Santa Barbara as needed.
