About The Position

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Doctor for a 15-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity involves 12-hour shifts with 7a / 7p start times and requires a minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience. Physicians will work in a hospital setting with robust specialty backup and an emergency department.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency medical care in an emergency department within a hospital
  • Perform required procedures : ventilation management, intubation, and central line placement
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and utilize robust specialty backup, including cardiology, neurology, surgical services, OBGYN, pain management, and anesthesia
  • Coordinate with the hospitalist program and utilize trauma life-flight transport resources as needed

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant emergency room experience required
