Security Officer Hospital Patient Patrol

As a Security Officer Hospital Patient Patrol in Monroeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. You will perform routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and respond to situations with professionalism, empathy, and exceptional customer service. Pay Rate : $17.50 / Hour

Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide excellent customer service to all individuals at the healthcare location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and patients as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor and / or staff entry, following established procedures to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and / or unusual circumstances in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Assist in emergency situations by guiding occupants to designated areas and coordinating with healthcare staff and first responders as directed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be willing and able to receive required vaccines for hospital environments.
  • Applicants may be required to work in or around hospital morgue areas.
  • Applicants must be able to assist with the restraint of individuals in a hospital setting as needed.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
