About The Position

Job Title : Pediatric Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department, Pediatric Emergency experience preferred

License : Active RN license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, MAB, PALS required

Must-Have :

• Experience in Pediatric Emergency Nursing
• Strong skills in managing high-acuity patients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Description :

Seeking a Pediatric Emergency Department Registered Nurse.

This position includes variable shift times with options for both day and night shifts.

The department sees a high volume of pediatric patients.

Last year, the department saw over 116,000 visits, with an average of 384 in the winter months.

The facility is a Level I trauma center and handles a large volume of walk-in patients.

There are designated triage areas to manage patient flow effectively.

ED techs are available to support nursing staff in patient care.

This role involves managing an array of pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress and trauma.

The nurse will be responsible for code management and critical interventions.

Weekends are required, with shift times varying.

Call requirements will be discussed upon hiring.

Candidates must be prepared to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
