Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group in Houston, TX, is seeking to hire a IES Technician (Indoor Environmental Solutions) who will be responsible for cleaning and servicing Air handling Units (AHU). The IES Technician will have experience with light commercial HVAC systems and / or cleaning air duct systems and experience in AHU refurbishing.

Responsibilities :

• Operate and maintain all duct-cleaning equipment.
• Access, remove, and clean air distribution components and equipment.
• Sell ancillary products / services in conjunction with the performance of duct cleaning service.
• Prepare all job-related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked Company vehicle.
• Complete AHU Refurbishing, which includes (clean and sanitize AHU, filtration upgrades, coating of inside of AHU, and replacement of coils, motors, and bearings if needed).
• Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
• Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques, recommending system improvements.
• Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Documents service and cleaning actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing results as needed.
• The IES Technician will follow and perform other instructions and other related duties as needed.

Qualifications :

Ability to use power and hand tools, able to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC systems.
