Job Title Assistant Controller

Position Summary
The Assistant Controller is responsible for providing financial support to the Corporate Controller to ensure effective and accurate financial accounting and record-keeping operations while complying with the established policies and procedures. This role will be a key manager in maintaining the accounting records, supporting audits, and managing standard operating procedures for financial activities. She / he will provide financial oversight of the AR, AP, General Accounting, and Costing.
Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger system in SAP, including all GL Account Accounts, Cost Centers, Account Groupings, Profit Centers, and Allocation mappings.
Qualifications
Physical Demands and Work Environment :
Work is performed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift 50lb and must have knowledge of computers and be proficient in word and Excel.
