Job Title : Assembler

Job Description

The position is for an Assembler who will primarily be responsible for assembling flame filters. The role involves using a winder to create circular flame arrestors from thin metal. The ideal candidate should have good mechanical aptitude and the ability to read schematics and blueprints for conducting repairs. This role also includes basic building maintenance tasks, such as replacing filters. Attention to detail and experience with precision measuring tools are essential.

Pay : $20 / hour starting out

Responsibilities

• Assemble flame filters using mechanical equipment.
• Use winding tools to create circular flame arrestors from thin metal.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for repair tasks.
• Conduct basic building maintenance, including filter replacements.
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all assembly tasks.

Work Environment

The role is based in a roughly square-foot production facility that assembles and repairs industrial pressure vacuum release valves for industrial clients. Equipment varies in weight, and some tasks require lifting assistance. Each valve must be pressure tested and correctly assembled, ensuring precision and attention to detail in all tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ladson, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
