Job Description
The Admission Assistant provides essential clerical and customer service support to the Admission Office by handling office duties such as maintaining application documents and files, fielding prospective family inquiries, and providing general office support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clerical Support
- Answer Admission department phone, emails, and greet in-person visitors
- Provide Blackbaud support and technical help when needed
- Assist in the organization and proper storage of Admission records
- Maintain office supply inventory
- Provide overall office management assistance as needed
Admission Application Support
Print, sort and file applications and supporting documentsMake courtesy calls to families regarding pending checklist itemsAssist with testing registration, test score reporting and filingEvent Support
Event runner for open house and tour datesAssist in greeting and directing prospective families during any Admission-sponsored eventAnd other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Active participant of a Protestant church whose doctrine is consistent with the Westminster Christian School Statement of BeliefAlignment with the Westminster mission / philosophy, goals, and objectivesMinimum 3 years of proven success in an office support roleHigh school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh Level of attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Blackbaud experience a plusFluency in both English and Spanish is requiredReports to : Director of Admission
Schedule : 12 month, Monday-Friday
