Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Psychiatric Discipline : RN Duration : Ongoing 36 hours per week Employment Type : Staff Description Location : UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, US : CO : Aurora Department : IP Behavioral Unit FTE : Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift : Nights Pay : $37.06 - $57.44 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience RN Psychiatric : - Initiates corrective action whenever patient presentation shows adverse symptomology. - Responds to patient care situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment. - Provides psychiatric nursing to a complex behavioral health patient population in a complex environment. - Handles critical and highly stressful situations, reacting decisively with efficiency and composure. Minimum Requirements : - Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered / Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience. Preferred : Bachelor's degree in Nursing. - State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level. - 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. - Advanced CPI within 30 days upon hire and then yearly recertification to meet the BHA rules and regulations 11.9.3D - BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
