Lake Forest Place is looking for a Part Time Resident Assistant / CNA for 7 : 30am-11 : 30am shift - Every Other Weekend - Assisted Living Department. Resident Assistants - $17.25- $24.04 per hour + Weekend Differentials (Salary based on years of experience). Certified Nursing Assistants- $20.00-$28.80 per hour + Weekend Differentials (Salary based on years of experience).

Position Overview

The main function of this position is to provide direct and indirect care under supervision of the nurse to a selected group of residents. This role can be in skilled care department or assisted living department. The minimum education, experience and qualifications for this position are : current certification as a nursing assistant with the Illinois Department of Public Health; able to speak, read, write and comprehend English skills needed to use medical terminology on the job; ability to do simple arithmetic; good communication skills; interest in working with older adults; and general knowledge of the needs of geriatric residents.
