Primary responsibilities
New Business Development / Client Partner role focused on contract value retention and growth through contract expansion and opportunities with new clients, with or without a delivery team.Develop and maintain relationships with key account decision makers to drive growth and achieve defined objectives for account growth and margin while meeting client satisfaction goals.Lead client satisfaction, revenue growth, and oversight of onsite service delivery teams; manage current and new business operations to achieve company goals.Set leadership example aligned with Verista culture of hard work, positive attitude, customer focus, and strong interpersonal skills.Primary Duties / Job Responsibilities
Create and direct strategy for large or growing accounts, including driving and coordinating selling and relationship activities.Maintain and build solid business relationships with account key decision makers.Introduce and foster relationships with Verista and client key personnel.Understand large, global account business strategy, drivers, goals, and initiatives and translate these into Verista selling opportunities :
Account management with outcomes of increased client satisfaction and retention & growthGrowth goal responsibility aligned to specific account baseProficient in strategic account management & planningManage forecast accuracy on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis.Negotiate prices, terms, and service agreements; prepare contracts and submit orders per Verista guidelines.Partner with Service Lines to implement and track strategies that ensure delivery teams meet and exceed sales, utilization, and growth goals.Ensure all projects, initiatives, and processes conform to organizational policies and objectives.Resolve client complaints and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.New Business Development
Verista is well positioned to grow based on industry reputation and broad capability. The Business Development / Client Partner has a primary responsibility to drive significant increases in revenue and market share.
Act as Primary Contact for Client Manager and Partner levels (C-level) with responsibilities including strengthening existing client relationships, establishing new client relationships, ensuring quality of work from the delivery team, and managing proposal development.Drive resource utilization levels for the group in collaboration with Service Line Management.Manage active and open purchase orders and ensure funding of units at all times.Verify resourcing plans are updated and funding secured before expenditure of existing funding.Ensure account personnel work on funded projects and actively manage client opportunities with revenue forecasts and resource planning.Regularly visit existing and target clients to obtain feedback, ensure quality, and realize growth opportunities.Sales Responsibilities
Hit sales quota for growth at assigned accounts in conjunction with Service Line Director / Senior & Delivery Manager.Manage Salesforce leads / opportunities / bookings with support from Service Line / Senior / Delivery Manager.Maintain pipeline to achieve results (typically 2-3x the required sales).Support Verista growth goals at each existing account (approximately 20%, though this may vary by account).Own Strategic Account Management Plans in assigned accounts in collaboration with Service Line / Senior / Delivery Manager.Resourcing Responsibilities
Collaborate with Directors / VPs to identify resource needs and assign resources.Coordinate with Service Line / Talent Acquisition / Resource Management about resource needs, timing, and skills.Interview prospective candidates if necessary and make recommendations to leadership.Ensure funding for new / strong opportunities and manage resourcing for growth.Provide regular updates to the Executive Leadership on resourcing projections, sales, and metrics.Develop strategic partnerships and help develop new accounts as necessary.Monitor and communicate staffing levels and billable targets to leadership.Provide leadership to improve team performance, culture, and processes; participate in marketing / input decisions as appropriate.Leadership & Development
Set goals and expectations for the group; define measurable performance objectives and career paths.Promote teamwork, attend quarterly service line meetings, and maintain high morale and standards.Mentor and develop talent; ensure ongoing training and adherence to procedures.Provide input on marketing, website, and strategy; participate as a Lead Team member.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Scientific field, Business, or relevant experience.
Experience in a fast-paced, results-driven organizationExperience in project management; handling multiple projects (5+) under $50K or large projects over $500KExposure to FDA-regulated environments including validationUnderstanding of commissioning, qualification and validation in pharmaceutical manufacturingPrior supervisory experienceSkills & Abilities
Strong written and verbal communicationAttention to detail and organizationMaintains competitive knowledge and focusAbility to interact with diverse customers including C-level executives, project managers, and engineersStrategic negotiation under pressure; calm leadership in stressful projects10+ years of relevant industry experiencePreferred Skills
Broad knowledge of commissioning, qualification and validation, process engineering, automation, packaging, project management, and regulatory / quality in pharmaceutical manufacturingIndustry contacts in the hiring geographic area are preferredSupervisory Requirements
This position requires cross-functional leadership to direct employees, OEMs, contractors, or clients as necessary to meet project goals.
