Compensation Analyst

Your Job : The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the Methodist Health System (MHS) compensation programs by monitoring and maintaining pay systems / processes; reviewing or completing pay transactions; researching and analyzing competitive market compensation data and developing recommendations based on findings; and providing guidance and interpretation to managers, supervisors, and employees.

Your Job Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. 6+ years in compensation area will be accepted in lieu of Bachelor's degree with a strong understanding of compensation practices and trends.
• 2-4 years in compensation area required with a strong understanding of compensation practices and trends.
• Experience with Lawson, SuccessFactors, and a pay survey database preferred.
• Strong applied math skills.
• Excellent analytical and computational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and aptitude for data reporting tool methodology and fundamentals.
• Excellent organizational, project and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage shifting, and sometimes competing, priorities and deadlines.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all matters related to employee compensation.
• 5 years' experience in compensation principles, practices, and analysis.
• Healthcare experience highly desired.
