We are looking to hire a PM Line Cook Wednesday-Saturday 1 : 30pm-10pm. This role is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to order during our dinner / pizza service. This role requires consistency, efficiency, and teamwork to ensure a high standard of food is delivered every time. While primarily focused on working a line station during service, Line Cooks also support prep work and must have a strong understanding of the dishes on their station.
Duties Include
- Learn and execute all food prep for menu items according to recipes and quality standards, including plating standards.
 - Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
 - Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
 - Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen and communicate clearly with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
 - Assist with general line cooking duties and kitchen prep as needed.
 - Minimize food waste by following portion guidelines, using ingredients efficiently, and properly labeling and storing food.
 - Participate in our composting program by sorting organic waste into designated bins according to café procedures.
 
Requirements
1+ years of experience as a line cook.Strong knife skills and overall kitchen competency.Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
