Job Type : Full time
Shift : Ranges from 2am 6pm
Immediate job openings for dependable Class C Delivery Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a Box Truck. As a driver, you are responsible for providing timely delivery of product and exceptional customer service to our clients.
Duties include :
- Complete delivery route destinations safely, maintaining a timely schedule
- Lift and off load products to customer site with dolly (pallet jack if provided)
- Verify the contents of product to be delivered
- Responsible for maintaining required paperwork and submitting documentation to appropriate staff when delivery route is complete
- Must log in to truck tracking device on a daily basis
- Responsible for upkeep of vehicle at end of shift clean cab and box
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
- Must submit to and pass drug test
- 21+ years of age
- Valid Class C License with an acceptable driving record
- Must pass road test
- Must be available to work Monday Saturday
- Must have at least 6 months, verifiable bobtail driving experience
- Perform pre / post driver inspections and report mechanical problems immediately
- Bilingual helpful, not required
- Produce experience a plus
Physical Demands :
- Be able to properly lift, push or move product weighing an average of 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, proper lifting, turn the body, walk
- May encounter varying weather conditions
