Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – South Dakota or compact state

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience

Strong clinical skills in acute care and telemetry settings

Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care abilities

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to patients on the Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit

Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform comprehensive assessments

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care using the EPIC electronic health record system

Participate in unit activities and maintain compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations

Adapt to changing patient needs and support a positive, team-oriented work environment
